Educational Development Fund

The IRI has created a separate fund designated as the Education Development Fund. The Rubber Board of India donated a grant of Rs. 5 Lakhs. This enabled the IRI, in 2005, to provide Laptop and LCD Projectors to the six Branches that conducted the DIRI and PGDIRI course programmes, thereby enabling the extension of education on rubber technology.

The late Dr. D. Banerjee also contributed Rs. 2 Lakhs for carrying out the task of developing technical manpower for the rubber industry.
